Hi Winston, I am trying to find my missing IOTA's like most people.

I have tried generating and attaching addresses on the old and new seed
I have also used the claim tool.
I have recently used IOTA balance finder
On the old seed I get this message

Checking your balance...Press i at any time to stop...
Checking for new addresses
C:\Users\Jeremy\balance-finder\main.js:43
  for (var i = 0; i < d.length; i++) {
         ^

TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined

  at api.getNewAddress (C:\Users\Jeremy\balance-finder\node_modules\iota.lib.j

  at check (C:\Users\Jeremy\balance-finder\main.js:37:20)

  at tryModuleLoad (module.js:497:12)
  at Function.Module._load (module.js:489:3)
  at Function.Module.runMain (module.js:676:10)

On the new seed its is continually checking addresses

What does the above message mean from the old seed?

You help would be appreciated.

@Pepperedcat I split your post off into its own thread. Thanks for posting.

You might get better help by pinging Rajiv in the Balance Finder Tool thread itself. I'm afraid I can't help too much with this stuff

@Pepperedcat
If you did not get any error while using the reclaim tool, your funds are probably in the IOTA Foundation custody.
You can also manually search your addresses on this list. the list does not contain the checksum (the last 9 chars of your address) so make sure to just use first 30 chars of your addresses to search.

Since nobody is giving an answer: The problem is probably the seed. I confronted the same Problem when using a lowercase Seed. After I changed it to Uppercase it started searching for addresses. Although I am not sure if there is a difference between a lowercase seed (which I used in older versions of IOTA) and a uppercase seed...

edit: If you are not finding any hits it may be that your balance was in a pre transitioned address (whatever that means) make sure trying the p tag if the regular search doesn't give you any hits as stated here: https://github.com/rajivshah3/IOTA-Balance-Finder#how-to-use

Hi, I gave up looking for my missing IOTA, but I have come back and have decided to give it another go.

I searched
https://gist.githubusercontent.com/cyclux/2bb05d873c4ec6115cad1d100263d489/raw/612a49e46091586957448f6606ea981ab18022e7/snapshot_validation_20171023.txt
and found my missing balance which shows the balance followed by the statement CURL_NOT_TRANSITIONED

I followed a video where I have my old seed reclaimed to new seed

But, still see no balance

Can anyone help
Thanks
