hello community, can someone help me, I have my IOTAs on the uphold platform, but I want to transfer them to my ledger nano S. which could be the best way.
Or send to my trinity wallet.

thanks for your question and welcome to Hello IOTA!

Sending your IOTA to your Ledger Nano S is a great idea and the safest way to store your funds.
Please take a little bit of time to learn about how to use your Ledger with Trinity and I suggest you start here: https://trinity.iota.org/hardware/.
Then there's this really great video tutorial that shows you all the steps from unpacking your Ledger to generating a receive address with Trinity that you can use to send your IOTA from the platform to your Ledger: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPvdCPsP8x4

Trinity will also guide you through the setup of your Ledger account and at some point it will tell you to note down your chosen "Ledger account index number". It is very important that you do this. I know of a few people who have not been paying attention to this and now they can't access their funds anymore because they forgot their index number. This won't happen to you if you simply pay attention to what Trinity tells you.
