Hello everyone. I am new in this forum, and also in the world of iota. Last year around this time I created my first seed with a light wallet and through mineiota I got my first tokens. I had several accounts to receive and sometimes I even sent several times to the same address and never had any problems. So far, well, but about two weeks ago I bought IOTAS in binance using a direction of the seven that I had and that I had never used and the tokens have not just arrived ....... but in iotasearch the transaction is confirmed. My surprise is that now with Trinity this address does not appear between the addresses assigned to my original seed and I am afraid that these tokens are lost. Is it possible that the address in question is disconnected from the seed? What I can do? Thank you all for your attention.

The screenshot you've posted shows that your tokens are safely in the address that you sent them to, so all you need to do is generate that address in your seed (using Trinity). A seed generates addresses deterministically, so if you have the correct seed, you'll 100% be able to generate the same sequence of addresses each time when starting from the beginning. There haven't been any changes in address generation algorithms in the past year, so that's not an issue. The solution here is to make sure you're using the exact seed that you used to initially generate the address. If you made a typo in the address when originally sending from Binance, then you're going to be out of luck. If you're unable to find your seed that generates this address, then unfortunately these funds are gone.

Thank you very much for your quick response Winston and I understand perfectly what you are telling me. I have the seed in which that address was supposed to be generated, but now it does not appear associated with my wallet, Trinity or Light wallet. After looking for it, I do not know how to generate a direction in Trinity manually, can you help me with this?
In any case, I reiterate my sincere thanks for your kind response.

Have you generated that many addresses again now? If so, then you're in the incorrect seed, which means that you'll now need to figure out where the typo occurred in your seed when you logged in and generated the initial withdrawal address. fvantom made a very widely used seed recovery tool for this exact situation: https://forum.helloiota.com/7000/Seed-recovery-tool-for-typosGive that tool a shot and see what you can come up with. Best of luck!

Hello again Winston. As I said, with Light Wallet had generated few accounts, 7 in total, in addition to the "lost" account that now does not appear in Trinity. And this is what seems strange to me. Anyway, it is also possible that there was some error with the seed when generating that account, which will use the tool you propose and maybe I can solve the problem. You are very kind, I am very grateful.

Hopefully the seed typo tool works for you. Please report back with results.
