I'm a new forum member. I've been buying MIOTA (want some skin in the game) and am developing a Java REST web services app that works with the Tangle. Users of my app will be those that want to easily send sensor data (as opposed to currency data) to the Tangle, and track it.

I think MAM is the technology for me, but I am not seeing any MAM Java API. I've downloaded and used the mam.client.js, and played around a bit by cloning publishPrivate.js and trying to invoke it from Java using the NashornScriptEngine stuff - am currently running into ScriptExceptions having to do with the JS arrow function (=>. I'll keep playing around with it until I realize it's futile :-).

Anyway, is a MAM Java API coming? Or, and I missing some big development detail about using the iota.lib.java, to do what publishPrivate.js does?
