Hi,

the only .NET library is not maintained for more than a year and due to many changes in IOTA it will not work anymore.

That is not a very good advertising for IOTA if there is not even one single working windows lib. Be it native, .NET, COM or whatever.

Regards

Wow, did not know about that. Maybe it should be listed more prominently.

Thanks
Stefan

I don't think .net is that important. IOTA wants to be IoT. So a C Library would be really useful. The unofficial C++ Library doesn't support Embedded Systems at the moment. So... mhmm IoT support is... not that great the moment. Even there is no Layer 4. (They advertise it on the website) But we will see. Maybe the Libraries will updated this year.

Yes, it wants to be IoT but there are many other use cases on normal desktop machines. Be it on wallets or just management tools.

There is a .NET micro framework that runs on ARM (and blackfin). So network appliance level  embedded use  could be possible.

Regarding the C-Lib i support the request, but that delays the problem to the underlying API.

Its a Pity that CfB used  Java on a fat PC as  the developmentenvironment for IOTA as   the  JDK/JRE provides a lot of thangs that are not always there  for embedded systems. Except of couse one uses a embedded linux as a base.

Do you have a link to the micro framework SDK?
